Job Purpose: To support the Purchasing team with the efficient supply of materials through accurate data entry, stock checks, order processing, and supplier communication, while developing the skills and knowledge required for a future career in procurement. This apprenticeship will provide hands on experience in a fast paced FMCG environment and include full training on ERP systems, purchasing processes, and supply chain operations. Main Responsibilities: The Purchasing Apprentice will be trained to assist with: * Supporting requirements planning for packaging and ingredients. * Creating, raising, and sending purchase orders under supervision. * Checking order confirmations and highlighting discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager. * Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery dates, queries, and updates. * Updating ERP systems accurately to maintain correct purchasing and stock data. * Working closely with the Purchasing Manager and Production Planning teams on delivery dates and stock updates. * Assisting with monthly cycle counts for Moy Production and reporting variances. * Monitoring supplier performance and reporting any issues or non-conformances. * Learning and applying procurement best practices within the business. * Any other reasonable duties that support the Purchasing team and overall company operation. The Level 3 Engineering Apprentice will gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, developing core skills in welding and/or fitting. Working alongside experienced team members and supported by a dedicated mentor, the apprentice will build practical knowledge of engineering processes, safety standards, and production operations. This role is designed to provide a strong foundation for a long-term career in engineering, with opportunities to progress into other production and engineering departments as skills and experience develop. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Learn and apply practical welding and/or fitting skills in a workshop environment Work closely with a mentor to develop technical competence and confidence Follow engineering drawings, instructions, and specifications Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards at all times Support the production team in meeting targets and deadlines Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organised work area Participate in college learning as part of the apprenticeship programme Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement

The Lean Manufacturing Apprentice will support the implementation of continuous improvement activities across the production environment. This role is designed to develop practical, hands-on skills in lean principles, helping to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality performance. The apprentice will work alongside experienced team members and mentors while completing a structured training programme aligned to nationally recognised standards in Business Improvement Techniques. Key Responsibilities: Service Delivery 1. Support the application of lean manufacturing principles across the shop floor 2. Assist in identifying and reducing waste using the 7 Wastes methodology 3. Contribute to continuous improvement projects delivering measurable operational benefits 4. Support workplace organisation activities using 5S standards 5. Assist with visual management systems to improve communication and performance tracking 6. Follow all Health & Safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment 7. Support quality monitoring activities and maintain accurate documentation 8. Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance product quality 9. Work collaboratively with production teams on improvement initiatives 10. Participate in team-based problem-solving activities 11. Learn from experienced colleagues and actively engage with a designated mentor 12. Attend off-the-job training (1 day per week) as part of the apprenticeship programme

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Apprentice REPORTS TO: Supervisor JOB PURPOSE: To work closely with experienced professionals to gain maximum manufacturing skills and knowledge. The apprenticeship involves on-the-job practical training and instruction, providing a holistic learning experience. DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Act as a team member with day-to-day operations. • Assist with specific tasks and projects relevant to the assigned department and progress to taking responsibility for a delegated workload. • Learn and apply industry-specific tools, techniques or software to improve manufacturing and business processes. • Maintain work equipment and ensure a safe, well organised workstation. • Work in accordance with relevant risk assessments and safe systems of work (SSOW) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as per Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental training and instruction. • Complete assignments and projects by agreed target timescales. • Follow instructions provided by Supervisor/Manager. • Participate in company or department improvement projects, to gain efficiencies, reach targets, meet legislative requirements and improve the work environment. • Comply with companies’ policies & procedures. • Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed with the Supervisor or Production Manager. Manufacturing Apprenticeship: • Correctly undertake the work process to manufacture component parts for production, to the required quality standard in accordance with work instruction provided. • Read, understand and correctly implement technical drawings. • Handle, transport and store component parts as per training and instruction. • Complete daily safety checks to ensure machine and work equipment is in good working order and submit all necessary check sheets as required. • Undertake visual and dimensional quality checks on designated products, both at in-process production and despatch stages to ensure compliance with the customer’s technical drawings. • Report any defects, safety concerns and make suggestions for work improvements. • Assist the IMS team with internal audits and undertaking the improvement actions. • Maintain high housekeeping standards within production areas.
